Job Description System One is working with a client in the Austin, TX area who is in need of a Desktop Support Technician. Previous experience providing onsite (IT) technical support is strongly preferred! The Desktop Support Technician will provide onsite on premise support to company users. Ensure high quality customer service to all customers on all supported network configurations, hardware, and standard operating environments. Respond to customer calls, e-mails, voicemails, and resolve technical related problems Document and track all issues thoroughly in ServiceNow to make certain that all issues are addressed within appropriate timeframes Monitor and keep customers informed on the status of open tickets Take ownership of all incoming issues and escalate as necessary to ensure that issues are routed properly and resolved in a timely manner Desktop Support Experience Requirements: Must have previous experience supporting, troubleshooting and/ or installing (updating) hardware software, workstations, printers, monitors and other various IT peripherals. Previous experience imaging / configuring PC's. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/ Office 365. Migrate data, install software, and troubleshoot software, network connectivity, and wireless connectivity. Previous experience providing technical support for mobile devices, iphone, ipad, android, etc. Maintain asset inventory and tracking through helpdesk ticketing system. Active Directory user account support. Excellent teamwork, leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail. Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
