We are looking for an Email/Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our rapidly growing team at Outdoorsy. This person would be responsible for the email marketing channel as a whole, so an autonomous self-starter that makes data-driven decisions is a must. The ideal candidate will be experienced in the email marketing space and demonstrate the ability to manage an email marketing program with a keen eye for detail and delivering clear and concise messages to users in a way that drives engagement and revenue growth. The candidate must approach Email Marketing from a quantitative angle and be thrilled about growing other messaging channels such as SMS, app notifications and more. They should be systematic, clever and always seeking out efficient ways to automate. In this role, expect to continuously be learning and exploring new platforms, skills, and integrations.

Requirements
Responsibilities

+ Grow new/repeat revenue and renter engagement through a scalable and sustainable email marketing program
+ Manage the end-to-end segmentation, automation, and email, from initiating new emails to building, testing, deployment, and reporting
+ Define and drive strategy to increase engagement and acquisition across all email streams; including marketing campaigns, re-engagement, drip and transactional emails and lifecycle marketing
+ Make definitive decisions on customer segmentation strategies and frequency of engagement/touch
+ Own and manage prospect database, constantly exploring new methods for list growth
+ Foster storytelling to create a dynamic, engaging and authentic brand experience that successfully reflects the spirit of our mission of #neveridle
+ Ensure compliance with spam and privacy laws in various regions

Qualifications

+ Minimum of 3-5 years email marketing experience in execution role within e-comm, hi-tech or like high-volume setting
+ Enterprise-level eCommerce email strategy experience; must have experience developing and managing strategic email and marketing testing plans
+ Deep knowledge and thorough understanding of email and mobile marketing best practices, particularly in an omnichannel company
+ Keen understanding of data systems and integration requirements: RedShift / Segment / API Solutions
+ Proven ability to translate analytic data into strategic insights that drive successful marketing programs
+ Advanced Excel and analytical skills required
+ Experience with working with large data sets and complex analyses
+ Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
