Description:

The Solutions Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing targeted marketing plans across the US private sector, Canada, GEH and Global account segments. This position will drive high-touch programs with high impact that generate pipeline, stimulate acceleration of the sales cycle and build/strengthen customer relationship and preference for VMware. The ideal candidate requires strong skills in account-based marketing and can analyze and consume data and market analytics to drive sales qualified pipeline and revenue. This function is responsible for maintaining multiple stakeholder relationships across sales, global and digital marketing, as well as the Americas marketing team. In addition, this person will develop innovative ways to engage our partner marketing team and the partner ecosystem to run complementary marketing programs. This position requires expertise in running successful integrated marketing campaigns in a matrixed environment.

Role Responsibilities:
• Delivers US Private Sector, Canada. GEH and Global Segment content and programs applicable to support the cross functional teams within sales and marketing goals to drive demand & pipeline
• Defines objectives, tactics, KPI and executes programs
• Drives balance of awareness, thought leadership, demand generation and sales acceleration activities for Core, Specialist and Partner integration
• Solution positioning/messaging lead
• Program budget management
• Collaborate with segment specialty sales leadership to ensure marketing programs are being optimized
• Works with PSO marketing to position services as part of integrated campaign
• Articulates segment needs to Americas Marketing counterparts
• Provides US Private Sector, Canada, GEH and Global segment point of view to cross functional teams for integration into marketing programs

Qualifications:
• BA/BS with 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, including digital marketing
• Deep understanding of modern marketing techniques including ABM, multi-touch outbound, social selling, omni-channel nurture, predictive lead scoring, content, etc.
• Collaborator with marketing, product teams, sales and partners who understands the value of organizational alignment in achieving long term goals
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. Comfortable in front of customers and executives
• Outstanding analytical skills
• Knowledge of VMware competitive landscape a plus
• Someone who can not only come up with innovative ideas, but develop and execute on them
• Ability to remain flexible through changes as we continuously adapt to meet customer demands
• Ability to self-motivate and self-direct
• Comfortable operating in a complex, matrixed environment
