Summary of Key

Responsibilities: The Senior Manager of Oncology & Data Accreditation will be the subject matter

expert of oncology accreditations. This position is responsible for managing the

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Development

of standardized processes to ensure American College of Surgeons (ACOS) accreditations

are standardized throughout the organization.
• Development

of standardized toolkits around adherence to specific programmatic standards to

ensure maintenance of ACOS accreditation.
• Development

of standardized Scorecard and communication process to key facility and

division oncology leaders to evaluate program success.
• Evaluate

current clinical data landscape. Identify opportunities to address

clinical needs through current and new data sets, business intelligence

toolsets, and analytics capabilities.
• Monitor

all quality measures as determined by Sarah Cannon leadership.
• Work

with business stakeholders to recognize clinical requirements and expected

outcomes necessary to elevate oncology programs broadly within HCA.
• Escalate to and collaborate with the Sarah Cannon

Director of Cancer Registry, on progress, issues and risks to help identify

accreditation risks.
• Ability

to communicate with all levels of Sarah Cannon leadership, clinicians,

physicians, and ancillary department staff that is essential for this role.
• Member

of the Sarah Cannon Accreditation Leadership Committee to share best practices

and evaluate programmatic status across the organization.
• Provides

consultation as a subject matter expert as needed to all stakeholders.
• Other duties as assigned

expected to complete any training assignments by the due date.



Minimum Required: Associate’s Degree (2 year program)

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree (4 year program)


Minimum Required:
• COC & NAPBC Accreditations
• Managerial Experience
• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)

• 3 - 5 years Cancer Registry Operations management experience preferred
