American Pool is a swimming pool management company servicing all of Maryland, DC and Virginia. The Area Pool Supervisor is responsible for the day to day management of 10-15 pools, and approximately 30 to 60 lifeguards within a specific geographic area. Duties include 3-5 site visits per site per week, maintaining client relationships, and basic sales. Candidate must be able to independently in a fast paced environment, with an overall team focus. Prior aquatic experience preferred. Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation. This is a winter seasonal position with possibilities for future growth in the summer season. The position operates Thursday - Monday with off days on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Job Description

As an area supervisor, your primary responsibility is overseeing the operations and personnel of approximately 10-15 swimming pool facilities within a specific geographic area. Area supervisors may need to lifeguard at times during the season, assist lifeguards with questions and concerns and orient lifeguards to each pool.

In addition to overseeing the lifeguard staff, an area supervisor's duties may include:
• Daily facility inspections and maintenance
• Ensure all chemicals are at the proper levels
• Adjusting chemical levels as needed while wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Maintaining a quality relationship with all property managers, and lifeguard staff
• Completing required field reports and maintaining facility cleanliness
• Primary link between customers, lifeguards and management
