FLUID SYSTEMS QUALIFICATION TEST ENGINEER (Temporary Assignment 3-9 Months) Located in Fort Worth, Texas Pay Rate $70.00 to $80.00 per hour SUMMARY Overall responsibility for ensuring successful qualification of fluid conveyance system products in aerospace applications. Responsible for test witness and daily management of qualification projects under the leadership of the System Lead Engineer. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage test unit availability and lab test scheduling in accordance with program test schedules Conduct Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) as required to meet Parker and customer requirements Provide test witness and daily management of qualification test activities Regularly confer and report issues and test status to the assigned System Lead Engineer Prepare deliverable documents required for airworthiness qualification QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor"s degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 4-6 years of related experience Ability to travel 25%-40% to witness outside testing Familiarity with RTCA DO-160 environmental qualifications Experience creating Qualification Test Procedures (QTPs) & Qualification Test Reports (QTRs) Experience in qualification of aerospace fluid systems and components. Experience relating to hydraulic or fuel systems components is beneficial. Experience with vibration and shock testing and MIL-DTL-5513/AS1709/AS1896 aerospace standards is highly desirable U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required
