Bell's Global Trade Compliance department is seeking an innovative, analytical professional with a global mindset to join our team as a GTC Specialist III. This position partners with key stakeholders providing export/import guidance to ensure compliance with U.S. regulations while enabling successful international business activities. In this role, you will continuously improve Bell's Global Trade program through automation, process streamlining, training, risk assessments, etc. The GTC Specialist III must possess a thorough understanding of the various regulations governing global trade and represent Bell through the preparation of import and export approval submissions and in person discussions about current and planned business ventures. This position will be located in Ft. Worth, TX. Position Responsibilities: This position is accountable for the administration of authorizations required by the US Government for the sale, import and export of BHTI's products and technology. The position provides leadership and direction in connection with the following activities: Determine and document license exemption/exception use Draft and submit export/import authorization license requests Perform license management and peer audits Determine and/or add classifications to Enovia/GTS/Visual; origins to SAP IT Access Requests (WebCar, RBARS, Jira, CPAM) Develop & document processes Attend gate meetings, review configurations, and provide export/import guidance to programs/support functions and junior GTC members Work with Security on specific TCP's Respond to classification requests from customers/suppliers/other departments, PMDDTC certs Provide training to junior members and other departments across the US GTC SharePoint oversight Qualifications Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree is required Position Requirements: 5+ years of experience in global trade compliance is required Must be a self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work Must have a demonstrated ability to work through complex issues with team members and across departments, levels, and with external customers Must be able to identify training needs and delivering training to fill knowledge gaps Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required Must have proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Excellent judgment and discretion are required Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required Preferred Skills and Experience: Ability to make compliant Export/Import decisions working toward Empowered Official assignment Export classification experience Previous Empowered Official Assignment, SIA Advanced, CUSECO, Customs Broker license preferred.
