Come be part of a multi-disciplinary practice that combines a variety of specialties that include medical, chiropractic, and physical therapy, to help diagnose and treat physical injuries throughout the body. Orthopedic Surgeon Summary:
• Clinical care, surgical intervention
• Clinical duties include new patient triage for orthopedic patients
• Injection clinics plus collaboration with urgent cares for musculoskeletal patients is also expected
• Effective communication with doctors, parents, patients and community contacts is essential
• Duties require an ability to effectively work with patients of all strata, proactively anticipate the needs of all patients
• Functions appropriately as part of care delivery team through efficient use of resources and skills, both their own and those of other providers and staff
• Chart in electronic format in accordance with licensure and scope
• Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management
• Quality improvement utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in the delivery of patient care, patient outcomes or workflows Orthopedic Surgeon Qualifications:
• Medical Doctorate degree (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an approved school of medicine
• BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon
• License required
• Completion of Orthopedic Surgery Residency and fellowship training preferred
