This position requires you to develop and maintain content for components within the Kronos Workforce Ready product suite. The content is customer facing and serves several audiences, including product end users, system administrators, and other Kronos teams. The candidate for this position shall produce technically accurate, well written and organized procedural and conceptual documents. ResponsibilitiesUsing Jira system, interprets enhancements and bug fixes into product documentation within the context of the release stories.Uses story definitions of product enhancements and pre-release versions of the product application servers to write and verify documentation.Establishes relationships with Product Managers, engineering and other staff as necessary to review documentation to ensure content accuracy.Attends product and team meetings where new content is discussed and presented. This can be online or in person. Participates in project kick-offs to understand new features or functions being proposed.Gain proficiency across the Kronos documentation infrastructure (SharePoint), while having a solid command of the Kronos documentation style guides (Currently in Word – Future in MadCap Flare.)Applies established standards within style guidelines.Works with other documentation team members via online meetings, Skype, and email to stay current on emerging issues and ensure documents are up to date and deadlines will be met.Uses relationship with the customer community to understand industry, customers, and product features to build better documentation. Qualifications Technical Publications is responsible for documenting the interactions of the Kronos Workforce Ready application. The documentation includes product release notes, user guides, service packs, customer communications, online help, and other reference materials.technical aptitude for understanding the tool sets used to produce the documentation in the Kronos style. These currently consist of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, SnagIt, Jira, and SharePoint.3 to 5 years of experience producing technical documentation or creating help content, preferably in a software company.Exceptional writing and editorial skills - knowledge of modern help techniques and tools.Ability to effectively collaborate with other cross-functional areas including: Product Management, User Experience, Development, Training and Customer Support.Proficiency in Madcap Flare authoring environment desirable, but not required. #LI-POST Corporate overview You’re empowered when you’re a Kronite.
