Responsibilities

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - FULL TIME

Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation is seeking an experienced, customer-service oriented full time Pharmacy Technician for a clinic based HIV Specialty Pharmacy in Jacksonville, FL. This position is responsible for overall coordination and processing of new patient medication orders and reorders. This includes verifying/re-verifying insurance benefits; translating and entering new or refill prescriptions into the pharmacy information system; communicating and collecting copay amounts; obtaining authorizations/reauthorizations; and screening, identifying, resolving or deferring orders that have accounts receivable or clinical problems. This individual works with both internal and external customers to ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner and meet all financial and clinical requirements prior to fulfillment.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Accurately dispensing medication
• Accurately entering data into the computer system; and various pharmacy-related duties in a fast-paced setting

Qualifications

Qualifications/Education:
• FL Pharmacy Technician registration is required
• National PTCB certification is highly preferred

Experience:
• Successful candidates should have pharmacy tech experience in a retail pharmacy setting
• Above-average customer services skills.
• Proven computer skills in Microsoft Office

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to problem solve and multi-task
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Ability to work with a diverse group of people, including patients and physicians
