Relocation to GTMO is required for up to one year. Current U.S. Passport required and in-depth background check must be cleared to gain access to the military base.Position Title: Concrete ForemanDepartment: Operations (GTMO)/TradesType of Position: Full-TimeFLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)Report Structure: Reports to the Concrete Superintendent and oversight from the Project Manager (PM) and Project Executive (PX) . The direct reports are trades crews and laborers.GENERAL SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL PURPOSE:This position is responsible for the daily supervision, direction, and coordination of assigned construction crews on a project jobsite to safely produce quality work, within project requirements, targeted budget, schedule, and in accordance with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:A high school diploma or GED is the minimum formal education required for this position.College courses or degree in construction management, engineering, etc. is preferred.Two (2) or more years' experience in a Foreman position (e.g., scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of phases of construction), over concrete trades on medium or large projects is required. Experience in multiple trades (e.g. framing/drywall, earthwork and MEP trades) is a plus.Five (5) or more years' experience (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in the construction industry highly desirable; government, military, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
