The Operations Initiatives Manager will identify and deliver best practice processes to ensure the short and long term success of assigned sites. This position will lead high impact product/process improvement teams and utilize Lean and analytical methodologies across all of KDP. This is a highly visible role with significant exposure to senior leadership on a regular basis. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated leadership skills, held various business roles, think strategically across a broad range of topics, and be motivated to drive change.

This position can be based near any of our major facilities in Irving TX, Houston TX, Norcross GA, Northlake IL, Jacksonville FL, or Los Angeles CA.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Collaborate with champions, including the Senior Vice President, to deliver value to the business; value will typically be measured in real hard dollar or working capital savings
• Develop and Maintain Relationships – within the Operations Initiatives teams and throughout KDP network
• Managers success will come from people and process; developing and maintain the right relationships and using a collaborative approach will insure overall success
• Develop People – work with all levels, from shop floor to management, and have a true desire to make a difference in all people you encounter
• Drive Culture Change – Drive fact-based decision making throughout the organization
• Duties will include project management, delivery of value through improved processes, leadership and support of projects
• Will need to utilize system skills (data pull and analysis) frequently
• Ability to travel a MINIMUM of 75% within the US and North America is an expectation of this job

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university and/or 5 years' work experience as business process leader or similar role in a company
• Advanced degree preferred
• Ability to travel for a full week at a time and up to 75% as needed for a project
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft office suite of tools (heavy emphasis on EXCEL and Power Point)
• Ability to work full days on a shop floor or field sales-based environment. Frequent standing, sitting, climbing of stairs may be required depending on project assignment
• 3 years of experience working in a Direct Store Delivery network
