Position Description

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions seeks to employ a student-centered professional to conduct outreach to community colleges and represent the University at various recruitment events. This position will review and adjudicate transfer and adult applicants for admission. As a counselor with the Transfer Services team, the successful candidate will assist in the development of the office's overall strategy for recruiting and supporting transfer students. This position advises, counsels and connects prospective students in person, over the phone, and via email with a variety of resources on campus including Financial Aid, Housing, and Advising. The role entails coordination and presentation of our Transfer Visit Program. The Admission Counselor will also administer our National Transfer Scholarship, Regional Scholarship, and Guaranteed Scholarship programs. Preferred candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
