Position Summary: SARRC is seeking great candidates to perform laboratory, medical, and assessment procedures for research studies that involve children and adults with autism and other disorders. Top Candidates have the knack for successful pediatric phlebotomy, especially when working with children with autism.

What You'll Do
• Develop a working knowledge of each study protocol and master the sample collection, processing and shipment/storage of biomaterials for multiple studies.
• Collect samples and conduct procedures with all study participants
• Order laboratory materials and kits for all protocols
• Maintain accurate records of equipment calibration, sample collection and shipment/storage of data.
• Order, stock and organize laboratory supplies and equipment as needed.
• Who You Are:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Phlebotomy certification or the equivalent required
• Desire to learn the collection of ECG’s, EEG’s, vital signs and anthropocentric measures and other study specific assessments
• Laboratory processing techniques and procedures in accordance with study protocol
• Desire to learn to conduct direct assessments (structured interviews and observations) with parents and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Experience with special needs children and their families
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• 1 - < 5 years’ experience with collection and processing of bio-materials
• 1 - < 5 years’ experience with pediatric phlebotomy
