JobSummary Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Developaccount relationships, identify opportunities and capture service opportunitiesin the respective markets

Identify,drive and close new business targets consistent with short / medium / long-termgrowth objectives

Drivenew material specifications from start to finish working across various rolesinternally and externally

Developand implement market and account specific strategies and growth plans; providefeedback on resource needs and emerging opportunities; recommend to Marketingand Product Management changes in PolyOne product / service offerings byevaluating product results and competitive developments; drive marketdevelopment activities

Approachthe sales and development process with a high degree of professionalism andeffectiveness by successful utilization of customer centric selling skills

Developdeep understanding of and share knowledge of key markets, players within thesemarkets, target applications, requirements, trends, and needs as well asPolyOnes potential

Lead cross-functionalteams (sales, customer service and technical functions) to accelerate and driveprofitable growth through solutions selling to targeted accounts

Establisha linkage between the customers business strategy and PolyOnes capabilities

Managestrategic relationships, cultivate new alliances, and monitor competitiveactivity

Collaboratecross-regionally and cross-business unit to achieve win-win growth

Abilityto translate customer needs into product solutionsactivity

Educationand Experience

Education:
Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably in Plastic, Chemical or MechanicalEngineering, materials science or related

Minimum5 years of proven commercial experience working in the targeted markets as anAccount Manager, BDM, MDM, ADE, Marketing Manager or similar

Highlymotivated, self-starter and possessing drive for success

Strongcustomer centric attitude, business acumen and not afraid of cold calling

Stronganalytical thinking, organizational and collaboration skills

Excellentnegotiation and persuasion capabilities

Abilityto influence and communicate across all roles and levels both internally andexternally

Excellentproject management skills

Hands-onability and willingness when needed
